• (a)Account information: your email address and a securely hashed version of your password — we never store plaintext passwords.
• (b)Payment information: billing is handled exclusively by Stripe. We never receive, process, or store your full card number or banking details.
• (c)Usage data: features you access, stocks you search, watchlist activity, and session duration — used to improve the product.
• (d)Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, and operating system for security and diagnostics.

03.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• —to provide, operate, and continuously improve the Equity Rank service;
• —to process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe;
• —to send account-related communications such as receipts, security alerts, and password reset emails;
• —to analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns and feature adoption;
• —to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

04.Email Communications & Anti-Spam Compliance

All email communications from Equity Rank require explicit opt-in. We follow these practices to prevent spam and maintain sender reputation in compliance with SURBL and anti-spam standards:

• (a)Double Opt-In: Email subscriptions require confirmation via a verification link before activation. This ensures every recipient has explicitly consented to receive communications.
• (b)No Unsolicited Messages: We do not send unsolicited marketing, advertising, or promotional emails to anyone not explicitly subscribed. All communications are either account-related or opt-in only.
• (c)Email Authentication: All emails are sent with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication to prevent spoofing and maintain domain reputation.
• (d)List Hygiene: We regularly remove bounced addresses, inactive subscribers, and unverified contacts to maintain list quality and compliance.
• (e)CAN-SPAM Compliance: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option and our physical mailing address. Opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days.

05.Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• (a)Stripe: handles all payment processing. Your financial data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your raw card details.
• (b)Supabase: provides database storage and authentication infrastructure. Your account data resides in Supabase's managed environment.
• (c)AlphaVantage and other market data providers: supply financial market data. No personal information is shared with these providers.

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

06.Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the service. Billing and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations. You may request permanent deletion of your personal account data at any time by contacting [email protected]. Note that legally required records cannot be deleted prior to their mandatory retention period.

07.Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission via TLS, bcrypt password hashing, and principle-of-least-privilege database access controls. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.

08.Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• —the right to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
• —the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements;

09.Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies and local storage tokens strictly necessary for authentication and session management — for example, to keep you signed in between page loads.

We also use Google Analytics 4 and the Reddit Pixel to measure aggregate product usage, conversion rates, and marketing-channel performance. These tools set cookies and may collect information such as pages visited, device type, approximate location, and anonymized IP addresses. IP anonymization is enabled for Google Analytics. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use these tools to build cross-site advertising profiles about you.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control in your browser settings.

10.Children's Privacy

Equity Rank is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

11.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
